Makin Glass & Pottery is not a co-op, we are a teaching studio. Because we are not a co-op and we have not been funded by the goverment or any private parties we must charge a tuition for our classes and information. We wish that we could just spout out free information to anyone who seeks it, but unfortunately we must do what is best for the community. We are responsible to teach the people that have paid a tuition, the people who have commissioned us to build thier windows, and the people who commissioned us to repair thier windows. If you wish to set up an appointment to ask questions, we will be happy to sit with you for two hours and answer all the questions that you may have. The charge for this service will be $100.00. Whether you stay for the entire two hours or not. This fee is non-refundable and does not allow you to do any hands on.
We are here for this community, but we also need the community to be here for us.
We are always trying to add more classes to our studio so that everyone has a place to learn and create.
